Saint Tanche is invoked to be preserved from angina and to obtain its cure.
Her parents, who were Christians, raised her in humility and charity.
Legend has it that one of her parents' servants, wanting to take advantage of her weakness, tried to abuse her. But the pure and holy girl preferred death to the loss of her virginity. And while her odious murderer saw the earth open under her feet and swallow her up, the soul of Saint Tanche ascended to Heaven where a melodious choir of virgins welcomed her.

INVOCATION
May your blessed martyrdom obtain for us our healing, may those who suffer like me implore his assistance, so that, having been effectively relieved and helped, we may bless you and love you eternally.
