Pregnant women invoke Saint Notburge to be preserved from rubella.
Saint Notburge was the mother of nine children, whom she brought up with love and tenderness and in the practice of all the virtues. This patron saint of mothers is much venerated and implored by them.

INVOCATION:
Hear us, O God our Saviour, that we may rejoice in the protection of Saint Notburge, and by the merits of her virtues and intercession obtain the help we seek. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Notburge, protector of pregnant women, assist us and pray for us.

ORAISON:
I believe, Lord, but my faith is still imperfect. I believe all those deep and impenetrable mysteries you have been pleased to reveal to us, but my belief is still weak and ineffective. Oh, if I believed all your sublime truths with the same conviction that I have for a thousand indifferent truths, what vivid, profound and unalterable impressions they would make in my heart! What a prodigious change they would make in my morals and in my conduct! Yes, my God, I confess it to my shame, I have only a shadow, an appearance of faith, I hardly deserve the name of the faithful. Increase my faith then, Lord, sustain my weakness, enlighten my spirit, spread that heavenly light that makes us believe without pain and without effort the truths of salvation, and deign to add that divine anointing that makes us love them. So be it.
