SaintsSaint Vodöal or Voué is especially invoked to be preserved from the fire and to obtain healing from ringing in the ears.
INVOCATION:
O God who see that by ourselves we have no strength, nor any means of escaping the dangers that threaten us, please preserve us by the merits of Saint Voué, within and outside, any accident and death by fire. We pray to you through Our Lord Jesus Christ. So be it.
Saint Vodöal, from all peril, in this world and in the other, keep us unceasingly by your assistance.
PRAYER:
Forgive me, my God, heavenly Father, if, considering the anguish and the bloody sweat of your only begotten Son, I dare to say to you: Will not your father's heart be moved at the sight of him you begotten of your substance, which sin has never defiled, and in whose mouth was never found a lie? See what he's suffering. Already he is shedding a sweat of blood for our redemption, the smallest drop of which is more precious than all the treasures of the universe. And yet, O incomprehensible justice! all this is not enough for you yet; all this was only the first degree of his cruel passion. By the passion of your divine Son, hear me, I beg you. So be it.
