Psalm 69
1 From the singing master. On the air: Lilies ... By David.
2 Save me, O God, for the waters have entered into my soul.
3 I sink into the mire of the abyss, and nothing that holds; I have entered the abyss of waters and the flood overwhelms me.
4 I cry out, my throat burns, my eyes are consumed with waiting for my God.
5 More than the hairs of the head, those who hate me without a cause; they are powerful those who destroy me, those who are wrong with me. What I did not take, will I have to return it?
6 O God, you know my folly; my offenses are laid bare before you.
7 Let not those who hope for you be ashamed of me, Yahweh of Sabaoth! May they not be ashamed of me, those who seek you, God of Israel!
8 It is for you that I suffer insult, that shame covers my face,
9 that I am a stranger to my brothers, a stranger to my mother's sons;
10 for zeal for your house devours me, the insults of your insulters fall on me.
11 Let me afflict my soul with fasting, and they make me an insult;
12 let me take a sackcloth for my clothing and become a fable to them,
13 the tale of the people sitting at the door and the song of the drinkers of strong drinks.
14 And I, praying to you, Yahweh, at a favorable time, in your great love, God, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
15 Bring me out of the quagmire, that I do not sink, that I escape my adversaries, the deep of the waters!
16 May the waters of the waters not overwhelm me, nor the deep devour me, nor the mouth of the pit swallow me up.
17 Answer me, Yahweh: for your love is mercy; in your great tenderness look towards me;
18 Do not hide thy face from thy servant; oppression is upon me, quickly, answer me;
19 Draw near to my soul, avenge it, for the sake of my enemies, redeem me.
20 You know my insult, my shame and my insult. Before you all my oppressors.
21 The insult broke my heart, to the point of fainting. I hoped for compassion, but in vain, comforters, and I did not find any.
22 For food they gave me poison; in my thirst they made me drink vinegar.
23 Let their table be a snare before them, and their abundance a snare;
24 May their eyes darken so as not to see, cause their kidneys to fail at all times!
25 Pour out your wrath on them, let the fire of your anger overtake them;
26 May their enclosure become a desert, may their tents be without inhabitants
27 They persecute him whom you strike; they add to the wounds of your victim.
28 Charge them, wrong after wrong, that they no longer have access to your righteousness;
29 let them be erased from the book of life, cut off from the account of the righteous.
30 And I, bowed down and wounded, may your salvation, God, make me right!
31 I will praise the name of God with a song; I will glorify it with thanksgiving;
32 Yahweh pleases more than a bull, a strong beast with a horn and a hoof.
33 They have seen, the humble, they rejoice; seekers of God, long live your heart!
34 For Yahweh hears the poor; he has not despised his captives.
35 Let heaven and earth, the sea, and all that moves in it cheer him!
36 For God will save Zion, he will rebuild the cities of Judah; there they will dwell, and they will possess;
37 the line of his servants inherit it, and the lovers of his name dwell therein.

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.
Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
