O glorious Saint Cyriacus, as a reward for your zeal, you were raised to the dignity of deacon of the Roman Church by the pontiff Saint Marcel. With holy courage you have endured the tearing of your limbs, the laceration of the flesh, the boiling pitch and death itself. Now turn your gaze upon us and obtain for us the grace
to remain steadfast in the faith, despite all the temptations of the devil, and to live in accordance with our divine model, Jesus Christ, so as to merit a blessed eternity. O valiant martyr, today when all the world applauds and glorifies you, make us also feel the power of your arm; show us also your mercy and grant us the graces we so ardently desire. Amen.
