To those who suffer, who weep, who despair; to those whose weak and faltering will desperately seeks the help of a firm and secret support; to those whose tender, restless soul, intoxicated with ideals, beats its wings at the slightest effort of divine flight, and then immediately falls back down like a wounded bird; to those whose charitable heart despairs helplessly before the anguishing pains of others, this knowledge is shared with you.

Those who suffer will find in the prayers it contains the consolation of their sorrows, the most effective help in their trials; the weak will find the support they lack, the enlightened and good guide who will sustain them and surely lead them in the narrow and difficult path of life; the souls enamoured of ideals, the chariot of fire which will take them away and place them all shivering on the radiant heights to which they aspire; the charitable hearts, the effective means of helping, consoling, relieving and healing those who are afflicted by physical or moral evil around them. These prayers are, some of them, ancient formulas taken from the most beautiful sacred texts of which the primitive Church had composed her liturgy, others, revealed or inspired orations and invocations to some of the saints to whom the Supreme Being has given the mission of helping, especially in the temporal realm, those who have recourse to their powerful and never refused help.

It is certain that prayer can do everything, but it is doubly effective when the formulas of which it is composed have become impregnated, in the course of the centuries of ardent faith that employed them, with particular virtues that have made them true magnetic batteries. However, when the one who prays does not limit himself to murmuring words, those words have the greatest power; when he identifies his verb with his thought; when he makes himself poor in spirit (Beati pauperes spiritu!), falling into the communion of divine magism, he receives the Light and truly possesses the Kingdom of Heaven. It is then that the most admirable gifts are born in him, gifts that are like the mark, the imprint of the Divinity. While humiliating our hearts, let us preserve our dignity as a beautiful, noble and free creature. Let us remember that God made us his sons and not his slaves. Let us strive to be pure, just, good, charitable and merciful. Then, when we have acquired these virtues, we will be able to speak to Heaven with confidence, Heaven will always listen to us.

THE GREAT MYSTERIOUS PRAYER OF POPE SAINT LEON III
It is of this prayer that it is spoken so advantageously in the oldest editions of the Enchiridion Leonis Papae, which state that St. Leo III had it written in golden letters, and paid homage to Charlemagne, assuring him that if he recited it devoutly every day he would be victorious over all his enemies, free from all infirmity, defended against adversity, and wealthy to the end of his life. To facilitate its recitation, it has been divided into seven parts, each of which corresponds to one of the days of the week. But although this prayer has been reproduced several times, we do not hesitate to put it in our prayer box, considering it one of its most beautiful jewels.

FOR SUNDAY
Our Father, etc.
+ Deliver me, I pray you, Lord, I, N***, who am your servant, from all past, present and future evils, both of the soul and of the body, and through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, and of your blessed apostles Saint Peter, Saint Paul, and Saint Andrew, with all your Saints, favorably give peace to me, your servant, N*** and holiness in all the days of my life, so that, being helped by the help of your mercy, I may always be free from the bondage of sin and from all fear of any trouble. Through the same Jesus Christ your Son, Our Lord, who, being God, lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen. May the peace of the Lord be with me always. (All) Amen. May your heavenly peace, Lord, which you left to your disciples, always remain firm in my heart, and may it always be between me and my enemies, both visible and invisible. Amen. May the peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ, His Face, His Body and His Blood, be at my aid, to me, N*** sinner that I am, and serve as a favorable protection and defense, and as consolation to my soul and body. Amen. Lamb of God, who deigned to be born of the Virgin Mary, and to bear the sins of the world on the tree of the Cross, have mercy on my body and soul; Lamb of God, through whom all the faithful are saved, give me in this age and in the ages to come eternal peace.
Amen.

FOR MONDAY
Our Father, etc.

I commend myself to you all. Amen. + May the blessing of God the Father Almighty, who made all things in one word, be with me always. Amen. + May the blessing of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, be with me always. May the blessing of the Holy Spirit with His seven gifts be with me always. Amen. May the blessing of the Blessed Virgin Mary with her Son be with me always. Amen. + May the blessing that Our Lord Jesus Christ gave when He consecrated the bread and wine on the eve of His Passion be with me always.
Amen.

FOR TUESDAY
Our Father, etc.
+ May the blessing of the Angels and Archangels, Virtues, Principalities, Thrones, Dominations, Cherubim and Seraphim be with me always. Amen. + May the blessings of the Patriarchs, Prophets, Apostles, Martyrs, Confessors, Virgins and all the Saints of God be with me always. Amen. + May the blessings of all the heavens of God be with me always. Amen. + May the adorable Majesty of God protect me; may his eternal goodness govern me; may his inextinguishable Charity inflame me; may his ineffable Sweetness lift me up. May his piety warm me up; may his love preserve me: 0 Jesus Christ, Son of the Great Living God, have mercy on me.
Amen.

FOR WEDNESDAY
Our Father, etc.
+ O Emmanuel! Defend me from the evil spirit and from all my visible and invisible enemies, and from all evil. Christ the King came in peace; God became man, and He suffered with mercy for us. May Jesus Christ, the peaceable King, always be between me and my enemies. Amen. + Christ is victorious; Christ reigns; Christ commands; Christ always defends me from all evil. Amen. May Jesus Christ deign to command that I be victorious over all my enemies. Amen. Here is the Cross of Our Lord and Jesus Christ; flee, opposing sides. The Lion of the tribe of Judah, root of David, has prevailed. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Saviour of the world, save me and help me, you who by your cross and your most precious Blood have redeemed me; help me, I beg you, O God Agios o Theos, + Agios Ischyros, + Agios Athanatos eleison imas: Holy God, Strong God, Immortal God, have mercy on me, N*** your servant. Lord be my support; do not forsake me; do not reject my prayers but always come to my help, Lord God my Saviour.
Amen.

FOR THURSDAY
Our Father, etc.
+ Enlighten my eyes, O Lord, that I may never fall asleep in death, and that my enemy may not say that he was stronger than me. Let the Lord help me, and I will not fear what man may do against me; my most sweet Jesus Christ, keep me, help me, and save me: in the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and in hell, and every tongue shall confess that Our Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father. Amen. I know very truly, O Jesus, that at whatever day and hour I call upon You, I shall be saved. O most merciful Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, who by the power of your most precious Name did and worked so many miracles, and gave us so much medicine to give to those of us who needed it so much, because by the power of your Name demons fled, the blind saw, the deaf heard, the lame walked, the dumb spoke, the lepers were healed, the sick were made whole, and the dead were raised from the dead; for when the name of Jesus is spoken, a sweet melody is heard in the ear, honey is smelled in the mouth, the devil is put to flight, every knee bends, the heavenly spirits rejoice, evil temptations are uprooted, all infirmities are healed; the debates that are between the world, the flesh and the devil are killed, and many other good things follow, because whoever invokes the Name of Jesus will be saved, this Name which was pronounced by the Angel before He who bore it was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary.
Amen.

FOR FRIDAY
Our Father, etc.
+ O sweet Name, Name that strengthens the heart of man, Name of life, salvation and joy; Precious, joyful, glorious and gracious Name; Name that strengthens sinners, Name that saves us and that leads and governs the whole machine of the universe. May it please you then, O most pious Jesus! By the same precious virtue of your Name, you deign to drive out demons from before me. Enlighten me, I who am blind; let me, I who am deaf, hear; guide my steps, I who am lame; let me, I who am dumb, speak; heal my leprosy, give me health, I who am crippled; Awaken me from death, and surround me in all things, within and without, so that, having your most holy Name, I may always live in you, praising and honouring you, you who are worthy of praise, because you are the most glorious Lord and the eternal Lord, and the eternal Son of God, in whom all things rejoice and are governed; to you be praise, honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. May Jesus be always with me to defend me; may He be in me to heal and quicken me; may He be before me + to keep me; may He be above me + to bless me; may He be below me + to sustain me; may He be always with me + to take away from me all the pain of eternal death, who with the Father and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns forever and ever.
Amen.

FOR SATURDAY
Our Father, etc.
+ May Jesus Son of Mary, Lord and Saviour of the world, be merciful and propitious to me, may He give me a healthy and submissive spirit to honour God, and may He grant me deliverance from my ills in the place where I am. No one was able to lay hands on Jesus until His time had come. Jesus is the One who was and who always will be. He is God and man, the Alpha and the Omega. May this invocation be an eternal protection to me. Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews, Mark of triumph, Son of the Virgin Mary, have mercy on me, according to your mercy, and set me on the path to eternal salvation. Amen. But Jesus, knowing all that was about to happen to him, came forward and said to them, "Who are you looking for? And they answered him: Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said to them, It is I. Now Judas, who betrayed him, was also with them. When Jesus therefore said to them, I am he, they were overthrown and all fell to the ground. He asked them again, "Who are you looking for? They said to him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered them, I have already told you that it is I. If therefore you seek me, let these go. The spear, the nails, the thorns, the Cross, the death that I suffered, prove that I have blotted out and atoned for the crimes of sinners. Preserve me, Lord Jesus Christ, from every plague, from the poverty and snares of my enemies. May the five plagues of Our Lord Jesus Christ serve me continually as a remedy. Amen.
+ Jesus is the Way, Jesus is the Life, Jesus is the Truth, Jesus has suffered,
+ Jesus was crucified. Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me. But Jesus, passing + in the midst of them, was standing, and no one laid his violent hand on Jesus, because his hour had not yet come.

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, to the Holy Spirit, from the beginning and throughout all eternity, now and forever and ever. So be it.

Protection

Protective prayers are prayers that aim to protect from the action of the forces of evil, as the name suggests. The minions of the evil one and all their spawn spend all their time attacking the children of God. By praying regularly for divine protection, you place yourself under the protection of the Most High, the One who is above all, the One before whom every knee bends. Thus, by praying the prayers of protection, God annihilates for you, in one way or another, all the attacks of malevolent forces.

By using God's power to protect you, you can embark on your endeavours with confidence that you will succeed, because God will deal with the negative forces that would try to harm you.

We all know the adage that says "the enemy never sleeps". touteslesprieres.com gathers through the keyword protection, all the prayers of protection which can be useful for you for this or that situation of the life.

With these prayers, have recourse with assurance to the protection of the Almighty who will strike down all entities that would try to obstruct your projects and your undertakings.
