Guide Holy Spirit Spirituality
1st prayer
Come, Creator Spirit,
visit the souls of your faithful,
and fill with grace from above,
the hearts that you have created.
You who are called the Comforter,
Gift of the Most High God,
Fountain of Life, Fire, Love,
and Spiritual Anointing.
You who pour out seven gifts in souls,
finger of the right hand of the Father,
solemnly promised by him to men,
and who put the treasures of your word on their lips.
Let your light shine in our eyes,
pour out your love in our hearts,
support the weakness of our flesh,
by your ceaseless virtue.
Drive our enemy far away,
and quickly give us peace:
walk before us as our guide,
so that we avoid all evil.
May it be given to us through you to know the Father,
as also the Son,
and you, O Holy Spirit,
who do both;
let us always have faith in you.
Glory be to God the Father,
and to the Son who rose from the dead,
like the Paraclete,
through the ages of ages,
So be it.
2nd prayer
O Creator, Divine Spirit
Come and visit our souls:
Fill with heavenly flames
The hearts that formed your hand.
We call you Comforter,
From the Most High present ineffable,
Divine fire, inexhaustible source
Of love and holy sweetness.
Treasure of the seven precious gifts,
Finger of God, promise of the Father,
Who make the earth speak
The sublime language of heaven.
Enlighten us, pure splendor;
Holy love, kindle our souls.
May crippled flesh in your flames,
Draws constant vigor.
Drive the enemy away from us,
And bring back fruitful peace;
To flee all the evils, that the world
Let yourself be governed by you.
O breath of the Father and of the Son,
Let us know the Father,
The Word and You; to this Mystery
Faith keeps us submissive.
Glory to the Risen Jesus,
To the Father, creator of the world,
To the Holy Spirit who makes him fruitful
For time and eternity.
So be it.

The Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost is the third person of the Trinity. His action is in perfect unity with the Father (GOD) and the Son (Jesus Christ). When we are in a state where we deserve to receive Him, He enlightens us, guides us, protects us from all dangers (spiritual and physical).
In the Bible, several symbols are used to designate the Holy Spirit: breath that makes you breathe; wind that pushes you out; oil that gives strength to athletes; fire that warms and purifies; dove that descends from heaven.
