Saints Protection
The devotion to Saint Benedict is very old and very famous. It is invoked against evil spells, inflammations, ersipelas, fever, gravel and against stone disease. The medals of Saint Benedict, which are very widespread, receive a special blessing that Saint Benedict left to his Order; they are a preservative against poison, plague, witchcraft and the assaults of the devil.

If you have poured out the balm of your mercy so abundantly on your torturers themselves, what then will you do, O my Savior! For those who long for you? Have mercy, Lord, have mercy. So be it.
