Saint Joseph
Glorious Saint Joseph, model of all those dedicated to work, obtain for me the grace to work in a spirit of penance for the atonement of my many sins;
to work in conscience, putting the cult of duty above my inclinations; to work with gratitude and joy, considering it an honour to use and develop through work the gifts received from God; to work with order, peace, moderation and patience, without ever turning back from weariness and difficulties; to work above all with purity of intention and with detachment from myself, having constantly before my eyes death and the account that I will have to render of lost time, unused talents, omitted good and vain indulgences in success, so fatal to the work of God. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all in your imitation, Patriarch Saint Joseph! This will be my motto to life and death. So be it.

Saint Joseph, the husband of Mary, is a special saint because he received from God the mission to take care of Jesus and Mary.
St Joseph is recognised for his many virtues: justice, chastity, prudence, courage, obedience, fidelity, patience, humility...
Of all the saints," said Leo XIII in the encyclical Quanquam pluries, "he is the highest to heaven, after Jesus and Mary. St. Joseph is one of the few saints to be celebrated twice a year: on 19 March and 1 May.
Leo XIII officially named St. Joseph the "patron saint of heads of families and craftsmen" (1889).
