30-day prayer to obtain the effect of all its licit demands

This prayer is a 30-day prayer. It is written that "whoever will say the following Prayer for the space of 30 days in honor of the Most Holy Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ and of the Blessed Virgin Mary his mother will mercifully obtain the effect of all his lawful requests, what we have often seen from experience.

"Holy Mary, eternal virgin of virgins, mother of mercy, mother of grace, and hope of all the desperate, by this sword of pain which crossed your soul when Jesus Christ our Lord endured the torment of death on the cross, by this filial affection which made him sympathize with your maternal pain, and made him take care to recommend you to his beloved disciple Saint John, heir to the very perfect love he portrays to you, I beg you to bring compassion and all together to remedy the anguish, the affliction, the infirmity, the poverty, the grief, and some other kind of necessity where I have found myself.

O refuge for the wretched, o sweet consolation for the afflicted, o most pitiful mother of mercy, consoler of the desolate, and most prompt liberator of the orphans in all their necessities, see the tears of my loneliness and misery, and for what I see myself burdened with evils and anguish, because of my sins, I do not know whom I can turn to but you, my dear lady, most sweet virgin Mary, mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom you are conformed and similar as a reformer of the humanity that is yours. I beg you to lend the ear of your ordinary pity and mercy accustomed to my prayers and I beg you through the womb of your most sweet and merciful son, through the gentleness he felt at the time of his covenant with human nature, which he deliberated together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, to take our mortal flesh for our salvation, and then, o blessed virgin, the angel brought you the news, the holy spirit overshadowing you, he covered himself with our mortality and remained 9 months in your virginal womb, true god and true man, and when this time had expired, by the cooperation of the holy spirit, he deigned to visit the world.  

By the anguish that your same son had in his Heart, when he prayed to his eternal father on the Mount of Olives, that if it could be done, he was delivered from the chalice of his passion. By the sad step you followed him in tears without ever abandoning him in all the obstacles of his death and passion. By the opprobrium and outrages, the spitting, the bellows, the mockery, the false testimonies and the unjust judgement that was given against him.

By that seamless dress, won by the chance of the game, by those bonds and those strokes of the rod, by the tears he shed three times, by the drops of his blood sweat, by his patience and his silence, by his fear, his boredom and the sadness of his Heart, by the shame he received seeing himself naked on the cross during your presence, o pitiful virgin and that of all the people.

By his royal leader, by his divine blood, by his broken reed, by his crown of thorns, by his thirst, by the disgust he felt at the vinegar soaked with gall, by the spear that pierced his sacred side, by the blood and water that flowed from his wounds, and were a great source of grace and mercy to us by the nails piercing his feet and hands, by the recommendation he made of his dear soul to his father, by his gentle spirit which he gave back in a loud cry: My God, why did you leave me? "and bowing his head, he said, "All is finished". By the breaking of the veil of the temple and the stones, by the eclipse of the sun and the moon, by the mercy he showed to the good thief, by his passion and his cross, by his descent into limbo, by the joy he communicated in his visit to all righteous souls, by the honour and glory of his triumphant resurrection, by the apparitions he made for forty days to you, O holy virgin, to the apostles, and to the other delivered souls.

By his Ascension, in which all the apostles were seen, he was lifted up into heaven, by the grace of the Holy Comforting Spirit, which he poured into the hearts of his disciples in the form of tongues of fire, and by them he made them carry it to all parts of the earth. By the terrible day of judgement on which he is to come to judge the living and the dead and all the world by fire, by all the compassion you had with him in this world, by the sweetness of his kisses, by the ineffable joy of your Assumption, on which day in the presence and company of your son you were ravished in heaven where you are filled with eternal joys and delights. I ask you to make my Heart take part in it, and now to listen to my prayer, and to grant me the request that I make to you with all the humility and devotion that I can.  (make your request here).  

And since I know very well that your son can refuse you nothing, do so, O my dearest Mother, that I may easily and promptly, fully and effectively feel the help of your most merciful Heart, and according to the will of your most gentle son, who does the will of those who fear him and are pleased in him, according to the prayer and desire of their Heart, and according to the need in which I find myself in many things, and principally in this one, for which I invoke your holy name and the virtue of his help, that it may please you to obtain for me from your most loving son a firm hope, a perfect charity in the Catholic faith, a true contrition of Heart, a source of holy tears, a sincere and perfect confession, a worthy and sufficient satisfaction, a diligent watchfulness over me, for the future, a great contempt for the world, a true love of my god and neighbour, a limitation of the sufferings of your most dear son, and death itself, if it must be endured, a fulfilment of my vows, perseverance with good will, a conversation that pleases you, a happy death, and a true repentance at the end of my life, with good sense, free speech and a fine judgment: Finally eternal life in the company of the souls of my parents, friends, brothers, sisters and benefactors, both living and deceased. 

So be it!"

refuge assure des misérables, o douce consolation des affliges, o mère de miséricorde très pitoyable, consolatrice des désolés, et très prompte libératrice des orphelins en toutes leurs nécessités, voyez les larmes de ma solitude et de ma misère, et pour ce que je me vois accablée de maux et d’angoisses, a cause de mes péchés, je ne sais a qui recourir, sinon à vous, ma chère dame, très douce vierge Marie, mère de notre seigneur Jésus Christ, a qui vous êtes conforme et semblable en qualité de réformatrice de l’humanité qui vous est propre. Je vous supplie de prêter l’oreille de votre pitié ordinaire et de votre miséricorde accoutumée a mes prières et je vous prie par les entrailles de votre très doux et miséricordieux fils, par la douceur qu’il ressentit au temps de son alliance avec la nature humaine, qu’il délibéra conjointement avec le père et le saint esprit, de prendre notre chair mortelle pour notre salut, et qu’ensuite o bienheureuse vierge, l’ange vous porta la nouvelle, le saint esprit vous faisant ombre, il se couvrit de notre mortalité et demeure 9 mois dans votre  sein virginal, vrai dieu et vrai homme, puis ce temps s’étant expire, par la coopération du saint esprit, il daigna visiter le monde.  

Par l’angoisse que votre même fils eut en son Cœur, lorsqu’il pria son père éternel sur le mont des olives, que s’il se pouvait faire, il fut délivré du calice de sa passion. Par cette triste démarche dont vous le suivîtes en pleurant sans l’abandonner jamais dans tous les obstacles de sa mort et passion. Par les opprobres et les outrages, les crachats, les soufflets, les moqueries, les faux témoignages et le jugement injuste qui fut donne contre lui.

Par cette robe sans couture, gagnée par le hasard du jeu, par ces liens et ces coups de verge, par les larmes qu’il versa 3 fois, par les gouttes de sa sueur de sang, par sa patience et son silence, par sa crainte, son ennui et la tristesse de son Coeur, par la honte qu’il reçut se voyant tout nu en la croix pendant votre présence, o pitoyable vierge et celle de tout le people.

Par son chef royal, par son sang divin, par son Roseau brise, par sa couronne d’épines, par la soif, par le dégoût qu’il eut du vinaigre détrempé de fiel, par la lance qui lui perça son cote sacre, par le sang et l’eau qui découlèrent de ses plaies, et nous furent de vives sources de grâce et de miséricorde Par les clous dont ses pieds et ses mains furent perces, par la recommandation  qu’il fit de sa chère âme à son père, par son doux esprit qu’il rendit en criant hautement : Mon dieu, pourquoi m’avez-vous laisse ?” et baissant la tête, il dit “ tout est consommé “. Par la rupture du voile du temple et des pierres, par l’éclipse du soleil et de la lune, par la miséricorde qu’il exerça envers le bon larron, par sa passion et sa croix, par sa descente aux limbes, par la joie qu’il communique en sa visite a toutes les âmes justes, par l’honneur et la gloire de sa triomphante résurrection, par les apparitions qu’il fit l’espace de 40 jours a vous, O sainte vierge, aux apôtres, et aux autres âmes délivrées.

Par son ascension, en laquelle a la vue de tous les apôtres, il fut élevé dans le ciel, par la grâce du saint esprit consolateur qu’il répandit dans le Coeur de ses disciples en formes de langues de feu, et par eux-mêmes il la fit porter dans tous les endroits de la terre. Par le terrible jour du jugement auquel il doit venir juger les vivants et les morts, et tout le monde par le feu, par toute la compassion que vous eûtes avec lui en ce monde, par la douceur de ses baisers, par la joie ineffable de votre Assomption, jour auquel en la présence et en la compagnie de votre fils vous fûtes ravie au ciel ou vous êtes comblée des joies et de délices éternels. Je vous prie de faire en sorte que mon Coeur en soit participant, et maintenant d’écouter ma prière, et de m’accorder la demande que je vous fais avec toute l’humilité et la dévotion qu’il m’est possible.  (faites votre demande ici).  

Et comme je sais très bien que votre fils ne peut rien vous refuser, faites o ma très chère Mère, que je ressente facilement et promptement, pleinement et efficacement les secours de votre Coeur très miséricordieux et selon la volonté de votre très doux fils qui fait la volonté de ceux qui le craignent et qui se plaisent en lui, selon la prière et le désir de leur Coeur, et selon la nécessite ou je me trouve en plusieurs choses, et principalement en celle-ci, pour laquelle j’invoque votre saint nom et la vertu de son secours, afin qu’il vous plaise de m’obtenir de votre très aimable fils une espérance ferme, une parfaite charité dans la foi catholique, une vraie contrition de Coeur, une source de saintes larmes, une sincère et parfaite confession, une digne et suffisante satisfaction, une diligente vigilance sur moi, pour l’avenir, un grand mépris du monde, un vrai amour de mon dieu et de mon prochain, une limitation des douleurs de votre très cher fils, et la mort même, s’il la faut endurer, un accomplissement de mes vœux, la persévérance aux bonnes volontés, une conversation qui vous agrée, un heureux trépas, et un vrai repentir a la fin de ma vie, avec un bon sens, une parole libre et un fin jugement : Enfin la vie éternelle en la compagnie des âmes de mes parents, de mes amis, de mes frères, de mes sœurs et de mes bienfaiteurs, tant vivants que trépassés.
