146.1
Praise the Lord! My soul, praise the Lord!
146.2
I will praise the Lord as long as I live, I will praise my God as long as I exist.
146.3
Do not trust in the great, In the sons of man, who cannot save.
146.4
Their breath goes away, they return to the earth, And that very day their designs perish.
146.5
Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, who puts his hope in the Lord his God!

He made the heavens and the earth, The sea and everything in it. He keeps loyalty forever.
146.7
He upholds the rights of the oppressed; He gives bread to the hungry; The Lord delivers the captives;
146.8
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.
146.9
The Lord protects strangers, He upholds the fatherless and the widow, But He reverses the way of the wicked.
146.10
The Lord reigns forever; Your God, O Zion! remains from age to age! Praise the Lord!
