to God Guide New Year powerful prayers
As 2023 comes to a close, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on the year’s graces — what God set in your path, what triumphs you overcame, what friendships you grew, what goals you exceeded, and so much more. Ending the year with a grateful heart is a fantastic way to enter a new year of life. To help you with that transition, here is a New Year prayer to share with friends and family, meditate on, incorporate into your daily prayers, or write down in your journal as intentions for 2024.
There's nothing that brings about hope for change and new beginnings quite like the transition from one year to the next. That's why we set New Year's resolutions, after all! Come 2024, you might have goals of focusing on your physical or mental health, working on your finances, or improving relationships in your life. But as we bid farewell to the old and welcome the possibilities of the future, there's no better time to turn to the power of prayer. Because no matter your own plan for the year, God's plan is better!
Here's a prayer for gratitude, to help you begin the 2024 year with a renewed sense of faith and hope for what He has in store for you.
Prayer:
As the dawn breaks on a new year, let us give thanks for all we hold dear: our health, our family and our friends.
Let us release our grudges, our anger and our pains, for these are nothing but binding chains. Let us live each day in the most loving ways, the God-conscious way. Let us serve all who are in need, regardless of race, color or creed.
Let us keep God of our own understanding in our hearts and to chant God's name each day. Let us lead the world from darkness to light, from falsehood to truth and from wrong to right.
Let us remember that we are all one, embracing all, discriminating against none.
May your year be filled with peace, prosperity and love. May God's blessings shower upon you and bestow upon each of you a bright, healthy and peaceful new year.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.
Prayers addressed directly to God do not go through any intermediary. He receives them as they are. Some people prefer this type of prayer where they speak, in their hearts, directly to God.
God is present everywhere. Within us and without us. Even when we think we are alone, he is there. He sees us, he listens to us. He knows us better than we know ourselves.
Like a good father with his children, he is compassionate, merciful and always ready to forgive us our failings and sins.
Let us entrust ourselves to him, ask him for the grace to be a reflection of his love for mankind. Let us entrust ourselves to him and be attentive to the different signs and messages that he sends us every day, within us or outside us through our fellow human beings.
