Psalms
Psalm 51
51.1
(51: 1) To the Chief Musician. Psalm of David. (51: 2) When Nathan the prophet came to him, after David had gone to Bathsheba. (51: 3) O God! have mercy on me in your goodness; According to your great mercy, blot out my transgressions;
51.2
(51: 4) Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
51.3
(51: 5) For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is constantly before me.
51.4
(51: 6) I have sinned against you alone, and I have done that which is evil in your sight, so that you will be righteous in your sentence, without reproach in your judgment.
51.5
(51: 7) Behold, I was born in iniquity, and my mother conceived me in sin.
51.6
(51: 8) But you want the truth to be in the depths of your heart: therefore make wisdom penetrate within me!
51.7
(51: 9) Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
51.8
(51:10) Show me gladness and joy, and the bones which you have broken will rejoice.
51.9
(51:11) Look away from my sins, blot out all my iniquities.
51.10
(51:12) O God! create in me a pure heart, Renew in me a willing spirit.
51.11
(51:13) Cast me not away from your presence, do not take away your holy spirit from me.
51.12
(51:14) Give me back the joy of your salvation, and may a spirit of good will sustain me!
51.13
(51:15) I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.
51.14
(51:16) O God, God of my salvation! deliver me from shed blood, and my tongue will praise your mercy.
51.15
(51:17) Lord! open my lips, and my mouth will proclaim your praise.
51.16
(51:18) If you had wanted sacrifices, I would have offered them to you; But you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
51.17
(51:19) Sacrifices which are pleasing to God is a broken spirit: O God! you do not disdain a broken and contrite heart.
51.18
(51:20) By your grace pour out your favors on Zion; build up the walls of Jerusalem!
51.19
(51:21) Then you will accept righteous sacrifices, burnt offerings, and whole victims; Then we will offer bulls on your altar.

There are 150 psalms in the Bible and they are attributed to King David. According to some beliefs, each psalm has a key, a secret, which, when used with the psalm, can solve a specific problem.
In the Koran, the Book of Psalms is called the Zabur.
Human beings are in a constant struggle on all levels against the forces of darkness, against the elements of nature and against their fellow human beings.
The psalms can be used by humans in this perpetual struggle against the forces of evil. With the psalms we can praise God, ask for the prosperity of the earth's goods, implore graces and blessings, ask for protection against enemies, defeat enemies, cure physical and spiritual illnesses, ask for help in court trials, for good luck, to ask for God's help in all circumstances, against fire, storms, storms, to have a good journey, etc.
It is important to know, as in everything we can undertake, to have FAITH. For FAITH lifts mountains. With faith, everything can succeed, whatever the obstacles.
