Saint Rita
Saint Rita, my powerful advocate before God, I implore your protection.
See the difficulties of my life. I come to you with confidence
and I beg you to intercede for me with the Lord God.
Let my prayer touch you
and deign to take up my cause with the Father of all tenderness.
Say a word in my favour; ask him not to treat me as my sins would deserve and to have pity on my misery.
Do it, you who are the advocate of hopeless causes,
you who are called upon when all human hope fails.
Do it through the love you have for Jesus crucified
and who gave you the grace to be wounded in the forehead by a thorn in his crown.
Do it by the Glory that Jesus gave you to share in heaven,
in his Kingdom.
Saint Rita, I trust in you and in the infinite love of the Lord, our God.
Amen
