Psalm 66
66.1
To the Chief Musician. Canticle. Psalm. Shout for joy to God, all of you inhabitants of the earth!
66.2
Sing the glory of his name, Celebrate his glory with your praise!
66.3
Say to God: How awesome are your works! Because of the greatness of your strength, your enemies flatter you.
66.4
All the earth bow down to you and sing in your honor; She sings your name. -Pause.

Come and behold the works of God! He is formidable when he acts on the sons of man.

He turned the sea into dry land. They crossed the river on foot: So we rejoiced in him.

He rules eternally by his power, His eyes observe the nations: Let not rebels rise up! -Pause.

Peoples, bless our God, ring out his praise!

He saved our souls life, And he did not allow our feet to waver.

For You have tried us, O God! You put us in the crucible like silver.

You brought us into the net, You put a heavy burden on our loins,

You made men ride over our heads; We went through fire and water. But you pulled us out to give us abundance.

I will go to your house with burnt offerings, I will fulfill my vows to you:

My lips were opened for them, And my mouth spoke them in my distress.

I will offer you fat sheep for a burnt offering, with the fat of rams; I will sacrifice sheep with goats. -Pause.

Come, listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done to my soul.

I cried out to him with my mouth, And praise was on my tongue.

If I had conceived iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have answered me.
66.19
But God answered me, He listened to the voice of my prayer.
66.20
Blessed be God, Who has not rejected my prayer, And who has not withdrawn his goodness from me!
