Compassionate and Gracious God, I yearn for happiness to take over my emotions and joy to lead my path.
Please allow me to leave behind these feelings of sorrow and depression and erase my overlying, constant feeling of gloom.
Fill my thoughts with delightful images and words, so happiness can arise and pull me out of despair.
I pray that You capture my spirit and tightly weave in joy, so it is bounded by grace and can never escape. I ask these things I Jesus’ Name. Amen.

To God, the being above all, nothing is impossible. Everything is possible with him. Whatever difficulties you find yourself in, trust in him, have faith. Pray to him and he will answer you.

Jesus Christ is a central figure in Christianity. He is regarded as the incarnation of God.
