Saint Pantaleon was a famous but pagan doctor. When he converted to the Christian faith, he became a fervent apostle of Jesus Christ and healed both through his medical art and in the name of Jesus.
Jealous doctors denounced him as a Christian to Emperor Maximian-Galerius, who had him tortured. In the midst of his torments, an angel came down from heaven and said that those who would later invoke him would always receive mercy.
Saint Pantaleon is invoked in favour of the squints.

INVOCATION:
