Prayer to Saint Lucy or Lucy of Syracuse to know the hidden secrets, reveal the thieves

We light a candle on a plate while reciting the prayer. On the plate we put papers on which are written the questions as close as possible to the candle. Paper that will not have been burned is the answer.

Saint Lucy, may the light of your eyes enlighten me and guide my steps in the dark; for God has given you the power to unravel the mysteries and search the deepest abysses. See where I do not see; may your eyes be my eyes and the reflection of your gaze becomes the knowledge of my mind. Happy martyr Lucy, by fire and by water, may no secret be hidden from me, and no lurking spirit may veil anything from me. I invoke the word of our God who said, "There is nothing hidden that is not revealed. ; so, Saint Lucy, let me see the whole truth before the morning arrives; and upside down or right side up, let the secret come to me. Amen.
