Protection child
(Say this prayer and take holy water and make the signs of the cross on the child as you bless him.)
+ O God, be the protector of those who hope in you, and without whom there is neither strength nor holiness in man, make me feel more and more the effects of your mercy, so that you always have for conductor and guide, I am protected from all misfortune.
+ O God, who have prepared heavenly and invisible goods for those who love you, pour out your love in my heart, so that, loving you in all things, I may one day arrive at this bliss that you have promised us and which surpasses all our desires.
I believe in you, O Almighty and Eternal Father, I believe and I confess your omnipotence and your infinite goodness. You are full of compassion and tenderness for the children of men; therefore the prophet cried out: I have waited a long time for the Lord with confidence, and he has heard me.
This is why, Lord, strong with confidence, I turn to you and through one of your greatest Saints, Saint Benedict, Patriarch of the Monks, I come to beg you to grant your powerful protection to ( name the child) so that he is not affected by any evil nuisance, and no practice of witchcraft by anyone, in his body and mind.
I believe in you, Blessed Saint Benedict, powerful and merciful, who love men and visit them out of love and to protect them with your holy cross, terror of demons and of those who commit evil.
+ O Saint Benedict, your precious gifts console and strengthen us, your grace purifies and protects us, your lights enlighten us. Be blessed, O Saint Benedict, it will never be possible for me to return to you the thousandth of the grace that I ask of you for this child, but take pity on him, I beg you, for he is defenseless in a world where of evil are active, under various appearances, encouraged in their works by the weakness of men.

O adorable Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who possess the same essence and the same eternity, O one true God, who dwell in an eternal and inaccessible light, who created, by your sovereign power, the vast universe, and who rule him with so much wisdom, O Holy, Holy, Holy, who are God of hosts; O infinitely good, infinitely lovable God, you to whom all glory and praise be due, open for me the entrance to your righteousness and your kingdom.
Eternal Father in your infinite goodness, deign to grant this young child your divine protection, through the intercession of your servant Saint Benedict.
