Most merciful God, who hear the prayers of those who hope in you and wait in their afflictions for the help of your goodness, please see the life and the wrongful conduct of the children you have given me, not to punish them, but to inspire them with holy repentance and forgiveness. Please, God of goodness, let them be converted and see the evil that threatens them unless they return to you in penance.
Do not remember, Lord, the bad examples I may have given them through my impatience, anger, anger, anger of words and other imperfections, nor that I did not warn them or correct them when I saw them doing wrong.
